Gary Combs – Director of Training, PTTC
Gary
began his Insurance Adjusters’ career with Allstate Insurance in 1974 and served
as a Resident Adjuster, Field Supervisor, Unit Manager and Property Claim
Manager while with Allstate for 11 years.
Starting
in August of 1992 Gary worked Hurricane Andrew in Miami for 17 months as an
independent adjuster. In January 1994, the Northridge Earthquake took Gary
to California for 5 years.
In 1999
Gary was hired by Farmer’s Insurance where he spent the next 7 years
building their Large Loss Property Unit. Gary created and taught much of
the training for this premiere unit while also serving as an Executive
General Adjuster, Zone Manager and Claims Examiner in 44 of the 48 United
States.
In 2006 Gary retired from
Farmers and took the teaching position with Pacesetter Tech Training
Center, LLC and moved his family from California to Claremore, OK. Gary’s
36+ years experience in all lines of Claims losses uniquely qualifies him
to provide “real world” training to the students of PTTC. In 2009, Gary was
elevated to Director of Training when Kyle Engel moved up in the Company to
fill another important position.
